BRIGHT OF LIGHTS

     DepEd Quezon with its new project called “Project LIGHTS” gives a series of trainings to the personnel of the department to enhance the service they will offer to their clients. This project have a lot of bright sides and must be given importance and given funds to conduct trainings since it produces quality service and improves its personnel.

     Project LIGHTS was not only launched to produce better service, but also to promote collaboration between teachers and to produce developments to the schools under this department and the personnel themselves, as stated from the meaning of “LIGHTS”, “Leading Individuals to Greater Heights to Teamwork and Success.

     It’s like making a newspaper when we want to make developments to the schools under this department and the department itself, we need a collaboration to produce one. We cannot make an efficient improvement if there is only one working on it.

     Their clients and stakeholders could expect way better services and smoother transaction with the department from the department since it would improve the way they give their service. The trainings that will be conducted by them will serve as the way to serve as workshops to improve their attitude in accommodating those clients to the process of transaction.

     To ensure that the personnel from Schools Division Office of Quezon would give quality service to its stakeholders, they need to comply or they are required to submit what they call ‘Clients Feedback Form’ to see if the client had a satisfaction with the given service.

     DepEd Quezon is also an International Organization of Standardization (ISO) Certified, which is also about the service, so it means that the department had met the standards of the ISO in giving service to the people.

     The department must develop and improve this project quickly so the public could really see what this project is for. Since it is a newly-launched project, we cannot fully see the benefits of it. Overall, its aim is to give better quality of service towards their clients and to provide a smooth transaction. It also trains the people inside the department to have an attitude that would fit to any clients that they will encounter in the future to get the highest satisfaction rate.

     People need to give importance to this kind of project since it is us that would get the benefits of this project in the end of the day. The department should produce bigger funds for these workshops that would make their personnel a better server of satisfaction to the customer. This is indeed a good project that the DepEd Quezon had launched.
